Posted By Blakk

Ahmad MYSPACE & ALBUM RELEASE: The Death of Me on Dec 15 2009
Ahmad Ali Lewis was raised in South Central Los Angeles. He secured his first recording contract while still a senior in high school, and promptly earned a gold record for the chart topping hit "Back In The Day." Ahmad later formed a band called 4th Avenue Jones, a collective whose sound he dubbed "hiprocksoul." Ahmad has toured extensively as a solo artist, and as a member of 4th Avenue Jones, visiting such places as the Netherlands, the U.K., Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and the southern African nation of Zimbabwe.

Wanting to provide a more stable environment for his toddler son Yeshuwa, Ahmad enrolled three years ago at Long Beach City College and graduated as valedictorian, with a 4.0 grade point average. He was accepted as a transfer student by several universities for the fall of 2008 and chose Stanford University. Ahmad is a 2008 recipient of the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, the largest private scholarship for two-year and community college transfer students in the country.

Ahmad's transition from hip-hop artist to scholar has not gone unnoticed; in fact, his story was featured on the front-page of the Los Angeles Times. Ahmad has said that he will be "the first rapper with a PhD."

Ahmad recently formed a new music company called WeCLAP, an acronym for We Change Lives, Attitudes and Perceptions. WeCLAP is partnering with Syntax Distribution, to release the forthcoming WeCLAP catalog. Ahmad's highly anticipated sophomore solo project "The Death of Me" is slated for a December 15th release and will be the first for the label.

New Music From The Game And 50 Cent

Both *The Game* and *50 Cent* have released new songs through the internet.
*Crime Wave* the song from *50 Cent*, sounds pretty tough, almost like an extended song from the Summer’s *War Angel* mixtape

This song, *Heaven* by Th*e Game* is very poor quality, but I couldn’t resist. Check it.

Kanye West Death Reports Fake; Girlfriend Responds

Earlier this morning there were reports circulating on the internet that rapper Kanye West was killed in a car accident.

The reports turned out to be a fake rumor, however news of the rapper's apparent death spread rapidly on Twitter.

It is unknown how the rumor began although, many point to a phony report that stated that "a bizarre car crash in Los Angeles involving two luxury cars early this morning [left] rapper Kanye West dead, a second injured, a third arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and a fourth person was detained by police.”

The fake report also went as far as to include quotes from a police officer who was at the scene.

A battle of "trending topics" began some time Tuesday night (October 20) on Twitter between users tweeting their thoughts on "RIP Kanye West" versus "Long Live Yeezy."

The "RIP" topic quickly became the top topic on the popular Social Networking site, as users joked that West was "killed" by Taylor Swift and her VMA statuette, for example.

As the topic grew more popular, some began sharing memories and condolences about the controversial producer, believing that he had in fact passed on.

That rumor lingered until West’s on-and-off girlfriend, model Amber Rose, confirmed that he was in fact alive and well.

She also took the opportunity to chastise those how had cruely joked of Kanye’s demise.

"This 'RIP Kanye West' topic is not funny and its [sic] NOT TRUE," she shared via her Twitter profile. "He has people like myself and his family that love him very much. Its[sic] in extreme poor taste to have that as a trendy topic. It's totally disrespectful to make up a story like this we're all human. And we all make mistakes and to say someone died ‘cuz of a mistake is ridiculous. You wouldn't want someone to say that about you."

Continued discussion about the validity of claims of West’s death keep the “RIP” topic at number one on Twitter, with Google also reporting “Kanye West Dead” as a top search topic in the US early Wednesday morning.

In the last 15 minutes before this article went to print, more nearly 2,000 new tweets appeared in a search on the topic, as people joke, ask and even use the topic to promote completely unrelated items.

West garnered attention earlier this week, when he released a Spike Jonez produced short film titled We Were Once a Fairytale, a film about West trying to conquer his inner demons

*C'NYLE* Myspace
World of hip hop is ever evolving and hip hop heads around the world are begging to hear music that speaks of more than money, women, cars and clothes. *C’Nyle* gives them just that in what he calls *Reality Rap*. Fans and colleagues label Him as *Tha Truth* and his first solo debut album *The Bloodline of Ice Cube* is full of just that. The album will hit the streets this fall, *October 13, 2009* off of *GV Records*.

*C’Nyle* is no new comer to the hip hop industry. He began writing rhymes and performing live at the age of 7 in his hometown Jonesboro, Louisiana. It was then he found out that he was kin to *West Coast Legend O'Shea Ice Cube Jackson*, who at the time was a member of the legendary gangsta’ rap group *NWA*. With the consent of his mother, *C’Nyle* at the young age of 11 moved into his grandmother’s home in South Central Los Angeles to officially start his rap career.

After only being in Los Angeles for 1 month *C’Nyle* met *Ice Cube* at a family members wedding. All this time I’ve been listening to this man's every word, quoting him and even dressing like him and now here we go sitting face to face. From that day on my eyes were opened wider to the 1st rule of the game and I immediately started paying my dues. *C’Nyle* also met another one of his cousins at the wedding named *J-Mac* now called *Mac Zilla*. They became inseparable. They shared the same goals to make it out of the Hood and together they became the *Yung Bucs*.

Within a year of forming the group Yung Bucs C’Nyle signed his first contract with GM Records. It was like I was Michael Jackson working with Jo Jackson, for real. (Laughing) Without the beatings! All we did was rehearse. Shit, in my sleep I was performing. Then I didn’t understand it But now I understand. He was getting me ready for the world. Good lookin’ Ron! C’Nyle and the label had their differences and with legal help he was able to settle those differences and Yung Bucz became Animosity Alagataz. C’Nyle went on to further his career co-writing the chart topping song A Whole Lotta Gangstas Die along with Flexx G, Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound and Alkatraz who later became a member of Animosity Alagataz. C’Nyle was discovered by Hip Hop Legend Ahmad, former member of 4th Avenue Jones'. Ahmad led C’Nyle to meet and work with DJ Quik. In that same year with the help of Jabu former member of 4th Avenue Jones' and Ozomatli, C’Nyle met music producer Lil’ Lee who was gaining a name on the West Coast with a new sound. It was a trip! I had just left the studio with Quik and here goes this other Nigga fresh outa’ Compton with Eazy E’s Mp and one of Quiks old keyboards with damn near the same sound. It was only right to add him to the group. And Bow! With the addition of Lil' Lee, Animosity Alagataz became Tha Gataz. I was doing big thangs with Jerry Heller, sitting with my feet up at Priority. Eating and drinkin’ up all they shit! (Laughing) Drafted straight outta’ high school to the pros. Haaaaah! In 2002 Tha Gataz featured on Master P.’s West Coast Bad Boyz Part 3 Compilation and the VH1 motion picture Playd. While working on numerous projects C’Nyle continued to increase his knowledge of the industry. He did this by attending concerts and performing at THE HOUSE OF BLUES, USC COCA COLA TOUR, UNITY FEST, THE KNITTING FACTORY, THE LAST DAY SALOON and numerous other venues working with artists such as, TONY G, JULIO G, FLEX G, MAC 10, RAS KASS, BAD AZZ, E-40, NATE DOGG, KOKANE, SOOPA FLY, DAZ, TINY LESTER, DAMANI, BIG JESS, JAMIE FOX, KID FROST, BOUYA TRIBE, MELLOW MAN ACE, LIL FIZZ, J-BOOG, COMRAD, PROJECT PAT, J-SWIFT, KNOC-TURNAL, BRAZIL STREET RECORDS, KP, LINK, IZION, THE SMART BROWN PLAD HANDBAG, RADIOACTIVE, THE 4TH AVENUE JONES, BAD HABITS, OZOMATLI AND DJ QUIK just to name a few.

Radio station interviews include 99.1 FM, 98.0 FM, 92.3 FM, U92.7 FM, and 100.3 FM The Steve Harvey Morning Show. C’Nyle also featured on the opening drop for the YoYo Show on 93.5 FM KDAY and independently produced two successful mix tapes. C’Nyle recently landed a starring role as a trigger happy criminal along side Rick Jordan in the action packed motion picture HEIST.

Shakurspeare, Tupac's (2Pac) New Album (his 1st works) released September 13th

The earliest recordings of 2Pac will be released and put together to form a new album, thirteen years after the rapper's death. The project is being assembled by Darrin Keith Bastfield, who is the CEO of Born Busy Records. When 2Pac was only 16 years old, he and Bastfield formed the Born Busy group.

The album is effectively a journey into 2Pac's past, when he was known as MC New York when he first began to rap.

"I was there when Tupac heard himself for the first time rapping on a recording. As he sat in the cafeteria of the Baltimore School for the Arts it was as if he couldn't believe that he was listening to himself," Bastfield told AllHipHop.com. "Just as Tupac was quietly amazed by hearing himself, I want people to hear Tupac as a young artist in his very first recordings ever having fun, rapping about issues that concerned us, and most importantly giving a cautionary and timely 'Message of Peace' in his own voice as if he was already a big rap star with a reputation to uphold."

Shakurspeare was decided upon for the title of the new album, in reference to a conversation exchange between Bastfield and Tupac, where he stated that he wished to become as renowned as a Shakespearean actor. The album cover will have an oil painting of 2Pac represented as Shakespeare.

"This project was a very spiritual undertaking for me, but most importantly it is about creating art and being educational. The vocals to the songs we wrote were all recorded accapella in 1988 on a cassette tape," Bastfield explained. "Through technology the vocals were able be extracted, digitally mastered, and put to contemporary music that was produced in 2008. I wanted to keep the recordings as close to the vein of our ideas from back in the day. As far as new material to assist with the concept of the album as being like an audio documentary, I chose to work with producers and artists in my own backyard which are native of Baltimore, Maryland which includes International Jazz recording artist Maysa. My life and times with Tupac Shakur all happened in Baltimore, so I wanted the spirit of the Shakurspeare album, just as the book, to stay consistent."

Shakurspeare is expected to be released September 13th, courtesy of Born Busy Records.
